What's the price for leak detection?

We base it on your pool’s size and how much plumbing there is to test, and you’ll have the number before we start any work. The repair, if you need one, is priced after we know what’s wrong, and our repairs average around $2,500.

How do I rule out evaporation?

Do the 24-hour tape test. With the autofill turned off, put a strip of tape at the water line and mark the level. Leave it for 24 hours without adding water. In summer a pool can lose about a quarter inch to evaporation in that time, so if it’s lost more, the extra is likely a leak.

Is the soil really different from street to street?

It can be. Parts of the Mid-Cities are sandy and parts are clay, and clay moves much more when it gets wet or dries out. That’s one reason two pools a few blocks apart can have different problems.

Does the warranty cover the whole pool?

Our warranties cover the repairs we make: a lifetime warranty on pier work, and 3 years on pipe and seal repairs. If we do pier work, you can upgrade to a 5-year warranty that covers any leak in the pool. The warranty page has the details.

What if the leak's in the equipment and not the pool?
