Why Southlake Pools Leak
A big chunk of Southlake was built in the ’90s. Stone Lakes, South Ridge Lakes, Timarron, Myers Meadow, and Versailles all got started during that decade, and many of the pools were built along with the houses. That plumbing’s been in the ground for about 30 years, and the skimmer seal has seen plenty of summers. Carillon only started building in 2012, so its pools are just now old enough to start acting up.
Much of Southlake has sandy soil on top and heavy clay a little farther down. The clay swells when it gets wet and cracks when it dries out, and anything buried in it gets shoved back and forth, and after enough years an old skimmer seal or a pipe fitting can work loose.

Acoustic Detection
